Pork Apple Pot

We’ve been doing this one at Milky House for about 10 years now.  We start with a nice, big pork shoulder roast and then add onions, apple juice, our homemade apple jam, lemon, and spices.  Then it all goes in the pressure cooker and simmers down to a rich, beautiful stew with just the right amount of sweetness to compliment the pork roast.  This one is the owner and chef’s own original creation and is garnished here with glazed carrots, potatoes, broccoli, and fresh local watercress.
